Jackie Chan Adventures
Jackie Chan is just simple archeologist. Or at least he was, until he stumbled across an ancient Chinese talisman, which an international crime syndicate just happened to be looking for. Now Jackie finds himself tracking down magic talismans, closing demon portals, protecting animals empowered with strange abilities, and searching for masks capable of summoning the armies of the Shadowkhan. All while keeping his spunky niece out of trouble.
As Jackie would say, he’s been having a very bad day.
Jackie Chan Adventures continues the tradition of KidsWB shows moving to Toonami, which started long ago by other Toonami series such as Batman: The Animated Series, Superman and Batman Beyond. Blending the real Jackie Chan’s trademark sense of action and humor with well written stories and fantastic action sequences Jackie Chan Adventures finally found itself becoming a welcome addition to the line up in 2004 with Toonami’s move to Saturdays. Prior to joining the block JCA was a mainstay of the SVES block.
